Mother’s Day Weekend

This past weekend was Mother’s Day! I was able to spend my Sunday with my mom, my brothers, and my niece! We had breakfast at Sambo’s, which is located near East Beach in Santa Barbara! It is one of my favorite places to eat! After breakfast, we decided to walk around the beach and Stearn’s Warf.

While walking up Stearn’s Warf we saw birds, snakes, and some other super cool things. There was so much to feast our eyes on! There were tons of people as well which made it more fun. We saw some super cool sand art as well, made by locals. Some were more elaborate than others, but they were all super cool and unique. I got the chance to talk to one of the artists and he was one of the friendliest beings I have ever come across. He came from a very humbling background and said he began to create art simply just to make others happy and to see them smile, which I thought was great.

Basically, this all happened in celebration of my mom and all the other mommys in the world.

Mom

For those who don’t know, my  mom is my absolute best friend. My mom is my hero, the light of my life, and the one person who has never left my side. She is the most selfless and hardworking women I know. There are no words to describe how beyond grateful I am to have this amazing woman in my life. My mother has taught me to let things go, to always be appreciative, and most importantly to be strong no matter what life brings.

Mom, if you ever read this, which I don’t know why you would or how you got here, but just incase you are: Your love does not go unappreciated. Thank you for always pushing me to be a better me and for being my biggest inspiration. I would not be where I am today without you. I hope I grow up to be even half of the woman you are. Te amo.
